The Rendon Group

The Rendon Group
1875 Connecticut Avenue N.W., Suite 414
Washington DC

The Rendon Group, a public relations corporation, is known as the "Pentagon's information warrior."

Founder John Rendon is a seasoned war propagandist who was in Panama City for the attack on Noriega and in Kuwait for the ousting of Saddam Hussein during the Persian Gulf War.

The Rendon Group established the Iraqi National Congress as a front group in the early 1990s. According to a news report by ABC's Peter Jennings filed in February 1998, Rendon came up with the name for the Iraqi National Congress and channeled $12 million of covert CIA funding to it between 1992 and 1996. In 2001, the Rendon Group was hired by the Pentagon to win over the hearts and minds of Arabs and Muslims worldwide. According to Asia Times, Rendon has also coordinated a disinformation campaign waged against Saddam Hussein.
